Clay Aiken Ruminations: Has RCA Dropped Clay Aiken?

  • Musicfan · 9 months ago
I is funny watching the random bloggers trying to get in their digs. Clay's fans have been so on top of this imformation and the so called reports are so behind the times.

I like to think that Clay dumped RCA!!! He needs a label that will support him and work for him and his music.

I love the way they play at the fans "angsting" over it. I think as a group we are far from that and are just waiting to see what's next for him. Record labels are about to go under anyway because what they used to do can be done for a tiny fraction of that cost through the internet.

    Angsting.....um, no!! Celebrating.....definitely!!!
The best really is yet to come!!!

I have been praying for Clay Aiken to part company with RCA since 2006, ne never got much support and promotion from them, now maybe he will sign with a label that will promote him.
    woohoo!!!

Yea! if he's finally free of RCA! They never were interested in promoting Clay Aiken. Hopefully, this means he's fulfilled his contractual obligation to them and can now be independent!!

Clay Aiken leaving RCA has been something we as fans have been hoping for for a long time. I doubt anyone is angsting when in fact the celebrations have already started. This has been long overdue. You go Clay.

YAY CLAY!!! I cannot wait to see what the future brings for this multi talented man.

I tend to believe it was a mutual parting of ways - his contract was fulfilled (and it's about TIME!!) RCA was not the best label for Clay - they never really knew what to do with him (and shame on them, that is their job)

Raising my glass of champaigne to the future!! No angst here LOL!!!

Angsting? Not on your life. I've been hoping for a long time that Clay could get away from RCA.

No angsting here, either. I just hope that he can work with someone who has enough music industry push to get past the damage RCA has done to him.

I'm very excited about this - the best is yet to come!!

I have been waiting for the day that Clay and RCA did part ways.
Now maybe Clay can get on with his career.
    No angsting here.

Clay deserves support and deep respect!! RCA has never showed either to him!!! I hope the rumor is true!!! Clay is no longer with them.
  • claniac24 · 9 months ago
No angsting here either. More like "praying it's true". If true, we're going to see great new music from Clay. Can't wait!

Evidently this is major, major news for all the bloggers. I am personally thrilled if Clay is away from RCA and have been wishing for this for 3 years.

So happy for Clay. He deserves a label that believes in him and will promote him. Great things are in store for that talented young man!!

RCA has done everything in their power to keep Clay Aiken down. I am so excited that he is finally free from them. Just sing Clay sing!!! I can't wait to see what he does next. What I love about Clay is that he beats to his own drummer and can't see what he comes up with.

Clay is finally free. He deserves a label that will promote him so the world can hear his incredible voice and experience his rare talent!

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Personally, I think Clay dropped RCA. And why not? They weren't much on promoting him. They let the golden goose slip away.
  • lululasst · 8 months ago
Clay is driving the car now, not RCA - yippee! And we get a "Best of" LP soon! I love Clay Aiken!
  • PaulaBear · 8 months ago
"The Very Best of Clay Aiken" is yet to come ... in more ways than one!!
  • stargazer · 8 months ago
I'm late to the party but no less enthusiastic. The spin from the media has been hilarious at best. They really need to do their homework if they think fans are in anyway upset about Clay's departure from the evil RCA.

Perhaps Clay's next CD will be preceded by promotion, something RCA seemed to think unnecessary. Raspberries to RCA!
